Preparing the ground for new drug launch

Finding the best ways to connect with both medical professionals and patients

BFG Healthcare Marketing helped Sanofi, one of the world’s major pharmaceutical companies, with pre-launch feasibility studies examining innovative ways for their new prescription medicine, Multaq, to best reach medical professionals as well as patients.

Multaq is a drug designed to help regulate abnormal heart rhythms in patients with atrial fibrillation (AFib). Development ideas included specialist workshops and conferences alongside radio and TV programme content, as well as a concept to explore public screening for AFib which was developed to trial stage.

Our work also included looking at the feasibility of partnership agreements with manufacturers and pharmacy retailers to help launch the medicine.
